Crane Palimpest was co-commissioned by American Composers Orchestra and the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra.
It received its world premiere at Zankel Hall on March 22, 2012 in New York City in a performance by American Composers Orchestra conducted by George Manahan with the composer as soloist.
